Does anyone know if there is another brand that's made to last and will accept the bath and body work bulb? I bought over 10 bulbs and don't want to put them to waste, yet on the other hand, I can't justify buying a new plug every few months cause that's a major rip off.
Because Wallflowers refills contain fragrance oils that may damage finished surfaces and some plastics, always keep a 12" clearance above your plug to prevent damage to surrounding surfaces. Rated 4 out of 5 by penguin girl from Wonderful festive December scents has a mixture of spices and evergreen.
It brings back the smell of Christmas at home! Date published: 2021-11-20 Last week, I shared my adoration for Capri Blue’s Volcano, Anthropologist’s signature scent.
(Disclaimer, I myself have not tried any of these, so I can’t vouch for how closely they match the scent of Volcano, but for the price, they’re certainly worth a try!) It’s called Island Moonlight in the Bella by Volume collection, and it only costs $10.99.
From user la lie : “I discovered that a limited-edition Trader Joe’s candle (Mango Tangerine) smells almost identical, and I’m still kicking myself for not buying out their stock while they had them. The TJ’s version was pretty much a dupe.” The seasonal item may not be available in stores currently, but you can pick it up for a little of a premium on Amazon.
A little on the pricey side, so what I have been doing for the last 5 years is searching for a Volcano candle dupe. Run your cute little buns to Target and buy yourself the Choose Happiness candle in the Sparkling You and Lime scent.

I bought a bunch thinking my room would smell AMAZING all year round, but I was sadly mistaken. Date published: 2021-09-08 Perfect explanation on the product with the different types of smell.
Also bought the matching hand soap for her bathroom. Date published: 2021-08-30 A wallflower is a person who is introverted and is separate from the crowd, usually at a party.
Not particularly shy but are reserved when surrounded by a lot of people and big personalities. They choose to stand back rather than getting involved as they prefer to observe.
Get the Schrödinger's Douchebag neck gaiter and mug. Someone who could be called shy, someone who doesn't feel comfortable around other people.
They may act fake around their friends to hide their real quiet personality, but to everyone else, they're invisible. They can be the best people, if you take the time to crack their thick shell.
The opposite sex doesn't seem to consider them very much, but if you got to know them, they'd be great. Someone, usually a teenager who observes other people and how they interact.
So he, she or they would stand on the sidelines, observe others, but are too afraid to let their awkwardness show. They are usually considered loners but are actually mostly shy or introverts.
Someone who is quiet, not anti-social and friends do not come easy. A wallflower is attractive to guys, but usually a turn off to girls.
Between the Christmas shopping, present wrapping, rush project deadlines, and holiday travels I didn’t have much time to focus on my burning. Bath & Body Works, 3-wick A classic fragrance that no matter the performance or throw I will always repurchase and burn.
Bath & Body Works, hand soap If it wasn’t for a sale earlier in the season, I never would’ve picked this scent up. Bath & Body Works, wallflower I adore this fragrance in candle form but wasn’t too fond of it like this.
With that being said, I think it’s time to take a break from this blog as its taken the enjoyment out of fragrances for me and made it into more of a chore. Between traveling for the holiday, transitioning to full-time freelance, and STILL not having my candles accessible in our new space, I’d say I’m pretty happy with what I did manage to burn through.
Bath & Body Works, wallflower This was nice and fairly detectable all month, but nothing too special. I’m still shocked that November has already come to an end but am happy with the overall group of fragrances I melted this month.
The end of the month really snuck up on me (yet again) in October which means it’s time to share my home fragrance empties! We still have yet to unpack the majority of our house due to work craziness which hasn’t exactly encouraged me to burn or melt much of my collection.
Better Homes & Gardens, wax melt When this released in 2017 I was obsessed with this scent, especially because it’s a dupe of BBW Pumpkin Spiced Cheesecake. On cold, it smells like a cologne scent yet when warmed it’s a delicious bakery pumpkin.
Bath & Body Works, wallflower I’m really confused why BBW hasn’t brought this back in a couple of years because this is INCREDIBLE in all forms. Bath & Body Works, wallflower This is straight-up a repackage of Pumpkin Caramel Latte from back in the day.
We finally moved into our new place at the beginning of September…and proceeded to live out of boxes all month because of our crazy work schedules. Due to this, I haven’t even unpacked any of my wax meters yet and my candles are still hidden away in crates.
Luckily, I was able to dig a few things out to enjoy since this is typically my favorite burning month of the entire year! Bath & Body Works, 3-wick Every year, I start out my September with this fragrance, and it never lets me down.
Bath & Body Works, hand soap While this scent is a delicious buttercream, there isn’t any pumpkin notes to be detected which I really wanted. Bath & Body Works, hand sanitizer A super fresh apple scent that was really nice to get whiffs of throughout the day after using it.
The exciting thing I discovered while burning the two candles was that fragrances really travel and linger in our new home! We were living in a rather large space for the past year and a half which I think negatively effected my burning habits.
Since its such a slow burner, I decided to just go ahead and put it in the meter where it lasted for weeks! Bath & Body Works, 3-wick Summer Boardwalk is a classic transitional scent for me, but this version wasn’t the best performer.
The fragrance is straight up cranberry with an undertone of cider which really isn’t my preferred notes. Bath & Body Works, hand soap This was gifted to me on my wedding weekend last October, and we’ve been slowly using it ever since.
Even though I didn’t necessarily discover any new fragrances in August, this was still a great transitional month for me! Don’t get me wrong, I’m ecstatic that Fall is right around the corner, but I just haven’t been melting as much as I’d like to lately because of my busy schedule.
Hopefully I’ll have a bit more burning time during my favorite upcoming melting season! Bath & Body Works, 1-wick I didn’t even bother trying to burn this candle and put it straight in the meter where it fragrance the surrounding area beautifully.
It didn’t throw that great when burning so lived the majority of its life in the meter. Bath & Body Works, 3-wick On cold, this smelled EXACTLY like a chocolate dipped banana.
Scents, wax melt This is an exact dupe of the former BBW hit Summer Bonfire. Bath & Body Works, hand soap One of the best fragrances that BBW has ever released, and I will always repurchase no matter the performance.
Think of vanilla ice cream inside a freshly baked waffle cone. Bath & Body Works, hand sanitizer Again, this scent is incredible, and I will purchase it in every form.
Bath & Body Works, 3-wick A sweet candy-scent that unfortunately smelled like kerosene when burning. Yankee Candle, wax melt In the store, this smelled like a raspberry cookie but once I got home it had a pungent perfume note.
Better Homes & Gardens, wax melt Like last month, this favorite scent of mine still lived up to its previous standards! I wouldn’t repurchase if it returned only because I don’t particularly want to use BBW body washes going forward.
Bath & Body Works, 3-wick This was a unique blend and after the first initial burn it performed flawlessly! The only reason I wouldn’t repurchase is because it doesn’t rank high enough on scent appeal.
Better Homes & Gardens, wax melt Like last month, this favorite scent of mine still lived up to its previous standards! Better Homes & Gardens, wax melt I was interested to see if this blueberry fragrance had a bakery note when warmed, but it was honestly just a straight up cloying blubbery scent.
Better Homes & Gardens, value wax melt An incredibly sweet berry fragrance that I’ll just never get enough of. Yankee Candle, wax melt In the store, this smelled like a raspberry cookie but once I got home it had a pungent perfume note.
Bath & Body Works, 3-wick This was once a favorite scent of mine, but I honestly was bored with it this year and wasn’t impressed with this particular formula. Better Homes & Gardens, wax melt On cold, this was a beautiful pear tea blend.
After an amazing month of burning in February, I sadly didn’t continue the streak in March. Bath & Body Works, 3-wick, x2 This was just as amazing as its original release and even though I now have an embarrassing amount in my possession, I’d still re-purchase forever.
Bath & Body Works, 3-wick A beautiful lavender & bakery blend that I’ll never get sick of. Bath & Body Works, 1-wick This IS NOT Lavender Macaron, it has more of a creaminess than a bakery note.
Super Tarts, wax melt A rose tea blend with a hint of bakery that reveals itself when warm. Super Tarts, wax melt, sample On cold, a really pretty floral fragrance.
Bath & Body Works, wallflower Absolutely incredible fragrance that filled my office space and lasted ALL month long! Bath & Body Works, hand soap This is honestly nothing special; it’s a generic sweet scent that hardly lingers after using.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, nothing in the wax-world is really captivating me this year so far so don’t be surprised if I seem to go MIA. I’m just dedicating my time to other areas of my life and hope to get through a lot of products I already own without getting caught up in the constant buying cycle.
