We would also like to advise all visitors to familiarize themselves on the guidance of their tiered area before visiting Paradise Wildlife Park. We have implemented a one-way system, installed additional hand sanitizer stations at regular intervals across the site and taken many other precautions to give you and your family peace of mind.

Areas in Tier 1 will be able to return to the previous “rule of six” on social interactions, meaning people can meet a maximum of six friends or family (including themselves) outdoors or indoors. Places of worship can open, but, as in Tier 2, mixing with people not in your household or support bubble is not allowed. Organized sports and exercise can take place outdoors, although people are advised to avoid higher-risk contact activity.

• International travel can occur subject to FCO guidance and air corridor requirements. Pubs and bars in areas placed into the “tougher” Tier3 alert level will be able to offer takeaway s and delivery only, Boris Johnson has announced.

He made an announcement to the Commons via video link from Downing Street where he is self-isolating after being contacted by NHS Test and Trace. Mr Johnson said the new tiers would be tougher than their predecessors, after Government scientific advisers said the previous regime did not do enough to tackle the virus.

Although the 10pm curfew for hospitality businesses will be relaxed, with last orders at that time before premises are forced to close at 11pm, the industry will face stricter rules than before. Setting out other measures that will be eased as the lockdown lifts, Mr Johnson said: “From next Wednesday people will be able to leave their home for any purpose and meet others in outdoor public spaces, subject to the rule of six, collective worship, weddings and outdoor sports can resume, and shops, personal care, gyms and the wider leisure sector can reopen. “Labor has backed the Prime Minister on all the big decisions the Government’s had to take to protect public health, including the two national lockdowns,” he said.
