Focus on the big picture like where to place certain structures while also being able to give attention to some of the smallest details like color schemes of your attractions. Although the minimum requirements are a decent amount higher than other simulation games like Civilization 6 or Railroad Corporation, they are still quite passable if your PC was built in the last five or six years, then you should be off to a good start.

There’s a good chance that players will want to really crank up the graphics settings to help fully immerse themselves in their zoo -management simulations, which means they will need computers that pass the recommended system requirements. If your PC can pass these recommended system requirements, then you can play the game with great FPS and the graphics settings turned to Ultra.

Reminder of Planet game requirements: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 7 (SP1+)/8.1/10 64bit Processor: Intel i5-2500 / AMD FX-6350 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (2 GB) / AMD Radon R9 270X (2 GB) Storage: 16 GB available space If you want to play it on higher settings you need a faster quad-core CPU in the high 3Ghz to 4Ghz range since it may be only directx11.

I think if you canrunplanet coaster or Jurassic World evolution you probably won't have problems. I think if you canrunplanet coaster or Jurassic World evolution you probably won't have problems.

And probably a bit more micro-managing since you have to care for your animals which requires less attention than Planet Coaster. With Planet Coaster, there's an option to stop rides from breaking down and requiring maintenance.

I also have very Updated Graphic cards, who can handle WE just perfectly I won't have many problems with that I'm conveniently in the market for a new laptop in the near future, so I'm looking to buy something that would allow me to play Planet Coaster and Planet at a decent clip.

I was initially going to target the “suggested” requirements for Planet Coaster. Is it anticipated that Planet will be about the same as those in terms of graphics cards, overall performance, RAM, etc. I might wait until the game comes out in November, but want to start researching some computer models now.

I might wait until the game comes out in November, but want to start researching some computer models now. RAM is cheap in comparison to CPU and GPU and suggested specs say 16 GB.

I currently have a recent i5, 16 GB and an NVIDIA 1060 6 GB in a desktop and I can play Planet Coaster fairly well. I only get performance issues with really large parks (as everyone does), though I am considering an i7 upgrade for future proofing. I will mention that a laptop CPU/GPU do not perform as well as their desktop counterparts to keep heat down and reduce space requirements, so as I mentioned before, you may get more performance for your money in a desktop, but then you need a monitor and a desk.

Definitely understood about the laptop, but I already have a desktop that functions fairly well... All the models I've been looking at have had i7's with similar graphics cards and RAM to what you just described, so I should probably be okay if I stick in that range.

Processor: Intel i7-4770k / AMD Ry zen 5 1600 Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD Radon RX 580 (8 GB) I'm surprised that this game has more demanding specs than planet coaster, as in the planet coaster, the recommended specs don't start off with a GTX 1070, they start off with a lower graphics class.

My next custom PC with be a RTX 2080 Ti (11 GB VRAM) and i9 9900k 5.0Ghz CPU. Overkill and expensive, but coping with stuttering when you build detailed or bigger zoos, is sad.

Could anybody please advise whether dozen 5 2600, GTX 1650 Super & 16 GB DDR4 RAM would be able to perform well at 1080 on high settings? My GPU isn't at the 8gb VRAM level, but it performs better on benchmark than the recommended RX 580. The recommended spec is a GTX 1070 GPU or better or AMD equivalent. Thus, you need 8gb VRAM to play it “well” especially on bigger zoo's or if you're putting a lot of build items or scenery.

The main culprit behind planet coaster lag is directx11 and its limitations. The recommended spec is a GTX 1070 GPU or better or AMD equivalent.
