We’re talking fragrances like Gingham, A Thousand Wishes and Japanese Cherry Blossom. Bonus: Our nightlight plugs give off a continuous glow, so there’s no need to flip a switch.

So I talked to one of the sales associates who told me an easy method that they do, and sure enough…it works like a charm! That’s on the inside of the diffuser and needs to be cleaned off before we put a new wallflower bulb on.

Starting from the under side, push the cotton swab through the hole and clean the underside of the grates. Once you flip it over and wipe the wax from the top, then push the swab through the holes and swirl it around to clean in between.

Once it’s all clean, you can put on a new wallflower bulb and plug it back in. It may seem silly to do this when you can just go out and buy another, but I fell in love with the style of mine and want to keep it running great as long as I can.

Learn how to use and get the most out of your Bath & Body Works Wallflowers by following our recommended safety and product usage tips! Though thoroughly tested and completely safe to use, Wallflowers refills contain fragrance oils that may damage finished surfaces and some plastics, so always keep a 12-inch clearance above your plug to prevent damage to surrounding surfaces.

Unhappy soccer player's troll attempt backfires I just bought a bath and body works wallflower and I would want to know how long to keep them plugged in.

Jul 10, 2014 1:55:23 GMT I never take mine out until the scent container is empty. Jul 2, 2014 13:38:31 GMT I leave mine plugged in all the time.

I tend to unplug mine after a few hours. I unplug it if I leave the house, and I surely take it out of the socket at night.

Is that necessary? If you lay it on its side once the cap is off, which I'm assuming you are doing when you unplug it, you are leaking scented oil/liquid. They are made to be left in 24/7, which is what I do with mine, however I'm enjoying Glade wax cubes more this season and may just switch.

Jun 25, 2014 21:52:20 GMT Another who leaves it in until I remember to check it, sometimes it still has liquid in and other times it doesn't, so I'll change it then. I don't do it by smell because they are great when you first put them in, but I think you become accustomed to the aroma and don't notice it quite as much as when you first plug them in.

I will say I was nervous at first leaving them plugged in all the time but then figured I would have no problem leaving a night light in all the time and this wasn't much different. Member Since 6/27/14 Refused #1755 Posts: 1,215Location: Minnesota.

I place the bulb inside the votive holder and the plug part hangs on the outside. The votive holder keeps it upright until I'm ready to plug it back in again.

I don't have them under any cabinets and I do know about them eating the paint off of things. I unplug them about every 30 days when I replace it.BUT....and this might change my answer in the future, one of them malfunctioned and wasn't working.

The actual plug in part is expected to last around a year. I had to stop working after less than 6 months, and they replaced them.
