My baby girl is 13 months, and we want to take her to a zoo. If you're planning to go to the zoo, just for your baby, then 13 months is not the right age.
Maybe, it'll be useful when she reaches the age at which you start teaching her about animals in pictures & books. The zoo is a very stimulating place where she can see lots of animals and colors and things that are different from her every day environment.
I wouldn't expect her to leap out of the stroller and scream about how much she loves the elephants, but if you can take her and maybe relate a sound or a silly song with the animal, it will be an overall stimulating and positive experience. Just remember that being a baby, she may not want to stay long... especially if it's around a routine nap time.
Just take a stroller, sunscreen (or a jacket depending on the weather), extra juice and small snacks (if they are allowed in) and patience. If you can make it a pleasant fun experience, she won't get scared.
Animal kingdom is a learning theme park for the kids and also for the elders. I actually have 4 little ones and the greater youthful ones went those varieties of places extremely plenty from delivery through fact we've been taking their siblings.
Yet whilst they're youthful than 365 days or so odds are they had the two get exhilaration from a walk to the park for loose or finding on the fish tank on the regularly occurring public library or watching the ceiling fan flow around or finding at squirrels and birds interior the back backyard. So in my view I might carry off identifying to purchase a flow to if I basically had a toddler below 365 days.
