Some popular exhibits in the zoo include that of the Winnipeg Point, Big Cats, and even the Salt Creek Wilderness. It is predominantly a native wildlife rehabilitation center, which mainly focuses on providing the injured and hurt wild animals with the necessary care and treatment for their speedy recovery.

The entire place is spread around an area of 7.84 acres that has nature tracks, viewing paths and platforms. It attracts every kind of bird lovers who love to simply sit down and enjoy the magical environment that they are blessed with.

Located in the Lincoln Park itself, the North Pond Nature Sanctuary is yet another one of the animal exhibits that is loved and adored not just by the locals but by the tourists alike. Outside this house is an emu and the zoo’s kangaroo mob including cute little joeys. It will likely take a fair bit of time to walk through this huge exhibit, and it is worth it.

The monkeys are typically fairly active, and you’ll have a great time watching them swing around and interact with each other. The Savannah area of Habitat Africa stars the zoo’s giraffes and African Wild Dogs.

The Salt Creek Wilderness : This is a quiet, picturesque mini-hiking trail around a lake. Feathers and Scales: This house is home to a variety of birds and reptiles.

Habitat Africa (Forest area): This is actually one of my favorite exhibits, but again it’s not quite as exciting as the other options. For this one, you walk down a small trail through a dense forest that leads to an area that houses Okapi and the Red River Hogs.

Inside the building, there are cookers, a crocodile and a couple small lizards. The Pachyderm House: This one you will probably just want to walk by the outdoor yards briefly.
