Combined with a solid strategy and plan of action, these tools could help you survive the end of the world as we know it. While we could have listed out a ton of different knives you could pick up, we figured it’s better to bundle things in a canvas constructed package designed specifically for an outbreak.

Each individually packaged meal will have a 2-year shelf life, 300 calories, and come to your choice of either honey BBQ beef or pepperoni flavored. Chances are that bottled water will be hard to come by, so you need to make do with natural resources.

The folks at Coleman put together a 200 piece first aid kit designed for the great outdoors, and even comes packed in a semi-hard protective case. This one comes equipped with a red dot sight, LED flashlight, Wolf’s Eye Blue Light gun attachments, and is backed by 180 pounds of draw weight to accurately shoot 8 mm steel ball bearings.

This heavy-duty hammer was created specifically for a zombie outbreak equipped with a bottle opener, multi-purpose wrench, nail puller, chisel, and demolition axe. These Black hawk gloves are the best in the business, constructed from DuPont Kevlar and high quality treated leathers.

Waterproof up to 30 meters, and constructed from a high density polycarbonate frame, this thing was built for toughness. Riot gear is just too heavy and bulky, but this Fox body armor fits the bill nicely.

The lightweight, flexible hard plastic will provide protection while still keeping you mobile. This multi-tool comes complete with stainless steel handles, wire cutters, serrated knife, needle nose and regular pliers, saw, hammer, and a lot more.

While you may not be equipped with an assault rifle when the world ends, you are sure to acquire one at some point during your journeys on post-apocalyptic Earth. Which is exactly why the firearm disassembly punch, cleaning rod and brush adapters are great additions to an already solid multi-tool.

There’s a good chance there are other survivors out there, and the ACR Aqua link personal locator beacon is the perfect way to help them find you. The beacon comes equipped with internal GPS, 5 year battery life, and will send a distress call for anyone looking for survivors.

We love Wolverine because the brand always delivers high quality work boots at prices that don’t break the bank. This particular model features a full grain leather upper paired with a man made sole, and of course that steel safety toe.

The binoculars are completely waterproof, feature 8.5x magnification, 45 mm objective lens, and the fact that they have a lifetime warranty tells us they were built to last. This lightweight axe features a stainless steel blade that is perfect for silent kills.

This thing also comes wrapped with 14 feet of removable para cord, carabiner, and military style compass. Constructed from extra beefy para cord held together by a stainless steel D shackle, this thing is worth its weight in gold.

Originally used for US parachute lines during WWII, the lightweight nylon rope has proven to be useful in literally hundreds of survival applications in the wild. Features include 1000 Lumen output, 3 separate modes, water resistant aluminum alloy design, and of course can be mounted to a tactical rail.

The team at Expedition have designed a durable bag built specifically for outdoor adventures. With an EN rating of 29 degrees, this sleeping bag will help keep you warm during those cold nights.

When the going gets tough, you’re going to need to keep your face protected from the flesh eating monsters with a solid facemask/helmet combo. Developed specifically for military training programs, this setup is ideal for any zombie fighting occasion.

You’d better just hope your skills are a match for this set as there’s no question that with this bad boy arsenal by your side, those marauding zombies don’t stand a chance in hell of taking you down! There’s bound to be bloodshed, limbs lost, cuts, bruises, large gashes and untold horrors that will take some serious cleaning up and more than a band-aid, some antiseptic cream and a headache tablet.

This complete, multi-purpose set from Coleman features over 205 pieces of essential first aid kit including Nitrite exam gloves, just in case you need to get up close and personal with a rabid, frothing at the mouth Zombie ! Trust us, you’ll need more than a bit of gauze to clear up a wound if you’ve been bitten by a rancid Zombie.

You might not have been afraid of the dark before that to survive those Zombies you are going to have to operate with stealth, in the deep and darkest dead of night so make sure that you have plenty of matches and ammunition so that you can navigate to the safe spots. Not that you will be doing any home DIY when the Apocalypse hits, but you may well need a quality utility hammer to get yourself out of some pretty tricky situations.

You might need to break into places to retrieve food and water supplies or hack your way into facilities to top up on essential medical equipment, so you are going to need a sturdy and robust demolition style rip-ax by your side at all times. You, on the other hand, are going to need filtered water to keep you going, especially if you’ve had to leave base camp on an emergency rescue mission.

So invest in a quality water filter bottle like the one from Lifestyle so that you can keep hydrated while pitching your wits against an evil Zombie uprising. We love this Para cord style one with its Micro Cord and fully adjustable sizing from The Friendly Swede.

It’s stylish and practical, but it also performs a really critical function and should you find yourself in the unfortunate clutches of a Zombie and then later require expert medical attention, your rescuers will immediately know who you are and how best to treat you. Post a Zombie attack, timing is always going to be of the utmost essence so having access to vital information quickly will be essential to successful survival.

It’s going to be vitally important that you keep your wits about you and that you thoroughly assess all the potentially dangerous situations ahead of you before you go steaming in on the attack. Make sure that you have invested in a seriously superior set of binoculars so that you safely view the situation from afar and work out your best plan of attack.

After all, forearmed is forewarned so adding a pair of binoculars in with your essential survival kit gear sounds like a sensible option to us. Those Zombies are easily spooked, so you might want to apply some stealth when approaching them and then blast them right between their shifty eyes with your strongest strobe beam.

Something like the Stunt Core Outdoors Watch should very much do the trick with a whole host of critical functions incorporated that will be useful, scrap that, essential when pitting your wits against the ravaging Zombies. With this GPS watch, you can access barometric altitude measurements, storm warnings, details of temperature, depth and a series of alarms.

Make sure that you have a Zombie survival plan firmly in place and a sophisticated timepiece and GPS tracker on your wrist. Last but certainly by no means least you so need to have a strong and sturdy fixed blade, tactical style survival knife that you can protect yourself with when the inevitable happens.

As you would expect, Gerber does an excellent range of knives, and if you opt for one with a deadly serrated edge, those Zombies won’t stand a chance. The days and nights ahead are going to be long and arduous, and if you are to stand any chance of making it through to the other side, you had better be prepared with all the essentials.

Of course, all of this Zombie Survival gear that we’re recommending you invest in needs to be transported and to really do that effectively you’re going to require a proper tactical style backpack and not just your usual leather tote. Fighting Zombies, lest you have forgotten already, is a grave and solemn business, and you need something substantial that will safely and efficiently store all that essential kit and caboodle.

It needs to be waterproof and have plenty of pockets both internally and externally in which you can get immediate and convenient access to all your Zombie fighting weaponry. So do yourself a favor and make sure that you add an appropriate Tactical Backpack to your Zombie survival shopping list like the Army Molly Bug Out Bag.

We all know it would be smart to grab batteries, medical supplies, lighters, flashlights and any other items to keep handy, but which thing are you reaching for when you need to kill a zombie trying to make you join the ranks of the undead? Read more: Here’s all the ‘Saw’ Easter eggs in ‘The Invisible Man’ and ‘Upgrade’ Crowbar This is easily one of the best things to have in a zombie apocalypse.

Crowbars are light to swing and fit in belt loops easily if you need both hands free for a moment. If you come to a door or some sort of barrier that you need propped open, you can use a crowbar for its literal purpose and get back to using it as a weapon afterward.

You’ll also never run out of gas like you would with a car and can easily carry your transportation around, unlike with a bicycle. Any bladed weapon could help pick through a wooded area, but a machete is designed to chop through trees.

On top of that, you’re setting zombies aflame as they march toward you, meaning you’re forcing more danger on yourself. Sure, it seems like a good way to mow through a crowd, but one wrong step and the blade is being pushed onto you instead.

Aiming, knowing how to clean and care for it, the actual mechanics of using the gun and more would all make it a useless tool for a vast majority of people.
