You can do a DIY if you have factory projector halogen low beams, which looks like a little ball type appearance of the low beam, if not, replace the whole assembly with an aftermarket HID kit from DDM (currently v good deals) or similar. I am just starting to research different lighting upgrades, so I am by no means and expert, but this is what I have so far.
