I have a comprehensive review of The Face Set here, with detailed functions and comparisons of each brush if you're interested in learning specifics. Wayne's brushes are, overall, ideal for precision base makeup and color application.
If you're looking to purchase individuals from the Face Set which are largely available, I do recommend his best -selling style, Brush 13 ($53). You can use it to buff in liquid of cream foundations, but I also recommend it for applying sheer powder blushes.
I just love this particular style because it is reminiscent of the infamous MAC 109, which is quite popular but sheds and bleeds for more than five years after purchase (literally). I like Brush 18 for precision placement of highlighter, like in the center of the lid or under the brow bones.
Brush 20 is his pencil style, which you can use to place highlighters in the inner corner or used to blend out a smoky outer-v. I am addicted to crease brushes because on days when I'm not filming, I tend to wear a single swipe of a shimmery eye color all over the lids.
I choose the lazy route with a single color, but you can accomplish an entire multi-layered eye look with Brush 19! If you have small hooded eyes, or you prefer to wear smudged powder eyeshadow as eyeliner, then stick to Brush 20.
I feel proud to offer you Gayness The Collection. A luxurious collection of 8 Makeup Brushes that will satisfy the novice and professional alike. FREAKING BREATHTAKING Put it like this, DON'T CHEAT YOURSELF, TREAT YOURSELF.
For the very first time I was able to find my crease and define it oh sew lovely with these beautiful gals. These brushes feel like silk swaying back and forth against my skin.
It really is insane how many brushes I have purchased over the years, but I am finally settled now on my very favorites, thanks to Beautylish. It is now a pleasure to apply my makeup.... I am achieving the results I want.
He is the only You-Tuber I can stand watching, and he is an amazing person and artist. I'm sure these brushes are super amazing and fantastic, but I'm really upset that he chose to use and abuse the label 'cruelty-free'.
They manufacture 500,000+ brushes per month that are made out of all types of animal hair. Gayness brushes are made mainly out of squirrel hair.
Seriously Fantastic I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I'm a bit of a make-up fanatic and tend to focus on purchasing the highest quality products. I've spent a good bit of money over the years on expensive make-up brushes but hadn't yet ventured into the Japanese brands I've heard so much about because I was concerned about the absence of cruelty-free commitments.
End results are far superior and the application experience is so enjoyable. I tend to appreciate the precise application of smaller brushes, but if you're really bothered by that, these might not be for you.
As for me, I'm in LOVE, and I'm hoping the great success Wayne has seen with these will lead to a larger range. The Softest brush Gayness is my ultimate beauty icon, so I was overly excited when I received this.
I apply foundation using it in downward motion, and it works. Takes a little getting use to; they really blend beautifully, love the fact that they are cruelty-free.
Purchased 2 sets for myself and one for a friend as a Christmas/ Early Birthday gift. 12/19/2013: For those with very delicate baby sensitive skin, go lightly with your strokes especially with brush #1.
At first, I thought that maybe I was having an allergic reaction to my makeup or cleanser, so I let my face heal for a couple of days and used another makeup that I knew I wasn't sensitive to, used the brushes got the same reaction, repeated healing and used my old brushes no negative response. I have being using this brushes for a few months and this collection feels incomplete to me.
Brush 01 is good but not my favorite when it comes to applying foundation. I feel like this collection is missing a flat shader brush.
Color can be build up using the blending brushes, but I don't get the intensity that I want. Don't be too excited like me, I love Gayness he is an amazing man and a beautiful artist, I've been watching him for some time now, and I became obsessed with his makeup brushes.
For my birthday my husband bought me the collection needless to say I cried because how excited I was ! That was in 09/2014 it Is now 01/2015 up until November I stopped using the brushes because all they do is shed all over my face, leaving small hairs everywhere, and it became too much now I am back to using my Eco friendly brushes because I can't stand picking small black hair off my face.
Because I am, so I love with gayness I wasn't sure if I was gonna write a review, but because how much you're paying for I needed too. Amazing, the best I ever had I just received your brush set (and used it for the first time).
You can also use the tip to blend eyeshadow and highlight around the top of your cheekbones. Check out Wayne talking about the brush himself below (skip to 2:09).
A read through the already 58 gushy reviews on Beautylish reveals his Holiday brush is already changing lives. This was well worth the cost, and if I had to do it again, the only thing I would change would be to buy it sooner!” says one reviewer.
Beautylish had to implement a waitlist for the brushes, and within two days it reached 12,000 people. For example, new shoes (with absolutely no signs of wear) that are no longer in their original box fall into this category.

I'm interested, but am I working on building a set of Sqq brushes and am not sure how these would compare. I remember reading that the same manufacturer made Sqq and Childhood brushes, so I'm wondering if it'll be the same for these.
The set of eight brushes will be available for preorder at $210; not sure if that includes shipping. I enjoy watching his videos, and all the helpful tutorials he puts out there.
I like that he is to the point and honest with his reviews, so that makes me more inclined to want to support his line and give the brushes a try! The price is a bit high, but I do understand why though since they are hand made.
I really WANT NEED these brushes, but I don't have that kind of money right now for it /firstname.lastname@example.org 2x" width="20" height="20" /> So those you do will have to review it for me, and then I'll save up for them /email@example.com 2x" width="20" height="20" />. I plan to purchase the whole collection rather than trying to figure out which brushes I want the most.
If you familiarize yourself with Japanese brushes you will see that the prices aren't astronomical. I too really love Wayne's YT channel and have learned a great deal from him in regard to makeup application.
I ordered #5 (small crease) and #8 (precision); it came to $42 with free shipping. I love Wayne's youtube, and I am in desperate need on new brushes, but his (Surely they are of phenomenal quality, I always felt Wayne was a truthful and down-to-earth guy) set is just too much for me at the moment, and it's definitely not something I could buy without reading amazing reviews first (I might put a few on my Xmas list- no one would be able to buy me the set, but a few is doable).
Unless they happen deliver my brush(BS) on a Friday, this won't work for me. They came really fast and were nicely wrapped, and had a handwritten note from Beautylish.
They came really fast and were nicely wrapped, and had a handwritten note from Beautylish. They are back in stock, and I am thinking of treating myself to a set for Christmas.
I have small, hooded eyes and #5 is really perfect for applying color to the crease or lower lid area, it's like it was made for me. I think it picks up color well; I use a different brush for blending.
I traveled with mine and the gold of the writing is just starting to flake off a little. HA HA I had a dream last night that Gayness got his own makeup line to go with his brushes and he was now selling product at high-end counters in department stores.
He was debuting at a store I just happened to be at, and was giving a girl makeup tips. Sorry, myself have not tried the brushes, but they look really nice.
