We will also divide them according to their roles in the game, ADC, Support ; Hunter, Assassin etc. Here's small explanation for all of them so that you can better understand the roles of each god and select one that determines your play style.
The sturdier characters gets to play in this position and start the fights themselves. They roam in the jungle area and farm by killing the various monster camps.
Without a good jungle player, team easily crumbles. They usually damage the enemy with their abilities but with the changing of the META, even ADC characters can be seen in the mid lane.
Attack Damage Carriers are the cannons of the team. They form a team and push the lane with a support, and they are expected to work well with together.
They are expected to protect the ADC in the early game but after their ADC farmed enough, they are expected to roam the other lanes as well. They have little to no shortcomings and even with a little of experience you can easily carry the game, as long as you don't do obvious mistakes.
Unfortunately, with the latest patch there are no SS tier gods currently but that can change any day so keep your eyes peeled! These gods, much like SS Tier, have so little shortcomings.
They can be useful in a lot of situations, but they are not as unstoppable as SS Tiers. These gods are also a solid choice if you want to secure a win.
Anhui (90/100) Hunter, ADC Gun You (89/100) Warrior, Solo Later Hun Bat (88/100) Assassin, Jungle Isis (87/100) Mage, Mid Later Set (86/100) Assassin, Jungle Terra (85/100) Guardian, Support Thong GUI (84/100) Mage, Solo Later Even if they are not the strongest of the bunch, they still have a considerable play time in the current META.
They are extremely situational so don't think that just because you know how to play these gods you're going to win every single time; only the real skilled players can come close to that. These gods are not seen useful in competitive game.
Greek God of time, Chronic is a beast when it comes to mid lane. His CC capabilities are great and the potential of situation creating of Chronic makes him a solid choice when it comes to team fights.
With the new buff to his third ability, he became one of the fastest camp clearing gods in the game. And as a frontliner tank, he can start team fights himself, the opposite of regular jungles and assassins.
This one flings Mjölnir around, jumping to it, spins using it and creates a long fissure that stops and stuns his enemies. The full details on his skills and various other knowledge about Thor can be found on the official SMITE wiki.
He can utilize bees to his heart's content using them for applying Dot. He can buff his attack speed and healing significantly and can use his ultimate's cool down by a lot.
Although he can be used as a support too, he is generally considered for solo lane more than often. He marks his enemies and deals more damage to them, so his survivability is high.
The Egyptian Goddess of Magic, Isis is uncontrollable when she is the opponent. She can break the ranks of her enemies and aid her friends all at the same time.
The full details on his skills and various other knowledge about Isis can be found on the official SMITE wiki. High CC and AOE Stacking passive that grants HP5 and MP5 (HP and MANA regent) to every ally.
High single target damage Stacking attack speed with his passive Fast clearing speed Fast banks Anhui has the skills worthy of his title, Slayer of Enemies.
His skills are based around that very well, dealing considerable damage to the opponents while keeping a good distance. He even opens up more distance, while sending enemies flying with his javelin.

If you're trying her out for the first time or are in the top 10 Nikes, like me, you'll find these builds and tips quite fun. It'll be easy to push back the solo and jungle rat the same time.
Cons Stuns and Silences stops her Rend Cripples stop her from escaping with her Valiant Leap Only one ability to make her CC immune Since you use guardian's blessing, all you need to do is poke the opponent after you have your 2 (Plan of Action) while hitting front minions or archer minions in the lane.
After your use plan of action, you can keep it on for the added fear factor that you'll either rend them if they get too close or have an enhanced ult if you're getting ranked. If you're really just wanting to clear to steal their blue buff, which is recommended, make sure you know where their jungle is, because if it's an twilit, you're going to need her to be on the opposite jungle.
Any other jungle, it'll be okay if they're around their speed buff or in mid. Use leap of faith over the jungle wall, hit them with 2 autos then use your 2(Plan of Action) to cancel your combo, so you can hit all 3 of the monsters again for a total of 4 swings.
If you aren't able to destroy the large jungle fast enough, just rend it to finish it off while poking the solo later or jungle if they come to check your progress on their buff. Depending on whether you're in the lead or not, you'll have to bank mid constantly around the 5-10 minute mark if you want to be a nice solo later.
While in the lead: After clearing wave, go proxy wave if you've managed to make your opponent cower behind their tower and steal their blue once or twice. If it's late game, proceed to juggling harpies near enemy's speed buff and then bank middle lane. Have your ult ready since it's your peel and initiation.
If the mid later is out of their tower, Valiant leaps on them, ult and then Plan of action into a Rend. That leaves them either dead or set up for your jungle or mid later to finish them off since they're slow and shredded of protections.
If you see yourself in this part of the game, it probably means, you are at around 15-25 mins, and you've taken all their towers and maybe a phoenix or two. Your passive is now fully or almost activated, giving your team +8% bonus power and +6% bonus movement speed.
Your full-time job now is to initiate, bank and peel. If you added Blink as the second relic, use it to initiate and then ult with Sentinel of Zeus.
No matter how long your enemies have played this game, they'll never be able to anticipate when you're going to blink. If you chose to use Horrific as the relic, Leap of Faith> Sentinel of Zeus>Plan of Action>Rend their ADC or mid to distract them.
Always be within a valiant leap from them in case their jungle collapses on them, so you can jump on them and help in the impending team fight or flight. To create peel, use your 3 (valiant leap).
You're trying to keep them alive, so use your relics like horrific, if you've used your ult already. In all, Nike is very fun to play since you can poke the solo later, fight off the jungle and bank without having to go back so often.
She has high sustain with her passive from the 2, giving your 70 ~ 100 hp5 if you build her full tank with Gaia. Her regular passive means then you'll be in the lead in damage in the late game.
