This hotel is new and lovely....spotless, great location for the Silos. You could walk to the Silos but the neighborhood in between seemed run down in parts, and I’m not one to stroll past groups of young men in hoodies.

We enjoyed visiting Magnolia, Dr Pepper museum, Mammoth Monument, East Terrace House, Bridges, and other Museums. Restaurants had delicious food and friendly servers.
We enjoyed seeing the older buildings and homes in the city and how the downtown areas were being restored. The Texas Rangers Hall of Fame and Museum was a great excursion and Buzzard Billy's was a great evening meal destination.
I would pick a hotel closer to down town or on the water next time. Really enjoyed the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, spent about 4 hours there.
Friendly and so helpful except at wood spring suites. There are a couple of times that would make this city better, if you're going to be charged $1.50 to put air in your tires how about making sure the equipment actually works.
With all the infrastructure work being done try to mark detours, transitions, and road are more visitor friendly. I thought it was going to be crazy like Austin or San Antonio.
There are plenty of great places to eat and conveniently located near Baylor University. Manager or owner had their personal car parked at front door.
