When Joan found out about Sherlock's crush on Fiona, she offers to help find out if the feeling is mutual. It didn't take long for Sherlock to come up with a bunch of awesome roller derby names for Watson.

She didn't mince words with Moorland, telling him, “If you're going to be a part of Sherlock's life again, I want to make one thing clear. In order to keep their skills sharp, the dynamic duo competed to see who could escape from handcuffs faster.

It was memorable when Sherlock hooked up with a contact in an effort to extract intel about his father's attempted murder. After trying for hours to beat a video game, Sherlock handed the controller over to Joan, who won on her first attempt.

When Joan discovered that the neighboring complex owner hated the pair's noisy antics, she confronted Sherlock. Joan and Sherlock were happy to lend a hand to Detective Bell by getting him the reward money from capturing a wanted criminal.

Sherlock, played by the incredible Benedict Cumberbatch, is the world’s only consulting detective; Scotland Yard turns to him when faced with seemingly unsolvable crimes. For someone who is utterly absorbed in science and logic (and supposedly has zero interest in fashion), Sherlock is quite well-dressed and favors streamlined fits and a dark palette of black, navy, purple, and gray.

Pair a refined purple blouse with a sleek faux leather skirt, then add a sleeveless jacket for a feminine take on a menswear suit. John dresses for comfort and utility, not for fashion, but his casual style is easily adapted for the college campus.

Layer a slouchy fisherman sweater over a periwinkle blouse, then slip on comfy cargo trousers that reference John’s military background. If spring hasn’t yet sprung where you live, a waxed cotton jacket will keep you warm and protect you from the elements.

Heeled hiking boots look both rugged and stylish and lend a bit of polish to the otherwise casual outfit. This “Napoleon of Crime” is traditionally played by a grim, older man, but this modern Moriarty is hilariously terrifying and more than a little bonkers.

For a fun, spring-appropriate take on the menswear trend, try a combination of high-waisted shorts, a slouchy tank, and a pinstriped vest. A pair of classic saddle shoes adds to the retro appeal, while cool aviator sunglasses reflect Jim’s devil-may-care attitude.

Irene Adler, played by Lara Puller, is the only person to ever outsmart Sherlock Holmes and the ultimate femme fatale. In this modern spin on the iconic character, she’s a dominatrix who has compromising photos of a British royal family member on her cell phone.

Campy red lips and nails are always chic, and leather driving gloves up the femme fatale factor. Mycroft Holmes, played by show co-creator Mark Gates, is Sherlock’s older brother and the very picture of British decorum.

Sherlock concedes that Mycroft is more intelligent than he, but is too busy with his mysterious governmental position to be bothered solving everyday crime. The brothers frequently have hostile, snarky exchanges that typically involve Sherlock mocking Mycroft’s weight.

Since so much of this post has focused on menswear, I took some liberties with this Mycroft-inspired outfit to make it a cute ensemble for a rainy day. A crisp shirt dress and sharp blazer make a polished but effortless outfit; add refined accessories like a red patent belt and classic watch for extra pop.

According to Sherlock, his brother is the British government, so this “Keep Calm and Carry On” iPhone case seems incredibly appropriate for Mycroft. Molly, played by Lou Really, is a forensic pathologist at St. Bart’s Hospital and an original character created for the show.

Although she knows he’ll never return her affections, she maintains a fierce loyalty for him and proves to be an invaluable resource. Since she spends most of her time in the morgue, Molly is almost always seen wearing a traditional white lab coat and sensible shoes.

Channel her cute look with a tie-neck blouse and pink sweater vest; a white jean jacket is a stylish take on her lab coat. Cropped trousers and oxford flats are trendy, but still fit the long pants and closed-toe shoe requirements of a lab setting.

Before creating a pull request with new development, please run the tests to ensure that everything is working great. It would also be a good idea to run the tests before starting development to distinguish problems between your environment and the Sherlock software.

Unfortunately, some of the sites that Sherlock checks are not always reliable, so it is common to get response problems. Any problems in connection will show up as warnings in the tests instead of true errors.

But the modern day Sherlock accomplishes it with an absolute perfect rhythm. Benedict Cumberbatch has quickly become a favorite of mine, though I rarely watch interviews with him because I love the image of him as Sherlock and I don't want to blow it; except for his upcoming appearance in 'Star Trek 2'.

He is a perfect replication; troubled, drugged, a complete and utter that you cannot help but love and admire for his ability to excuse his sociopathic self as a huge credit to his character. With the introduction of Jim Moriarty the show became even more enthralling and tense as the last episode kept me guessing “How” and “Why” these events happened.

The actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Andrew Scott were very notable in their portrayals of the highly popular characters and perfectly cast with the other actors. The cleverly-written scripts were spot-on, with the humor introduced just in the right places and the dialogues very well thought One of the best that I've seen so far on TV, Sherlock comes as a complete package.

The actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Andrew Scott were very notable in their portrayals of the highly popular characters and perfectly cast with the other actors. Something great happens when every element of a show are gathered together in perfection. The shooting style, the clever dialogues, the terrific performance and the magnificent story telling make BBC1's Sherlock the best version of Conan Doyle's investigator.

Simply put it, the first and last episode of the second season is by far the best television I've seen in many years. The series are loyal to the books with outstanding overall performances that are able to layer the characters and give them the required depth and complexity, while keeping it humorous and witty.

Benedict and Martin are fantastic in their respective roles, as well as everyone else(especially Andrew Scot as Moriarty). If you can't stand this show, stick to Guy Ritchie's dismemberment of the series.

It has easily made my top ten list of all time, and I assure you, I do not rate it a perfect 10 lightly. This coming from someone who has read all the novels and seen just about every Holmes movie ever made.

This particular version wonderfully captures the character of Holmes and Watson for a new day and age. I’ve always found Steven Moats revised Doctor Who is a series very inconsistent in terms of quality from episode to episode and, as a result, I didn’t get around to watching Sherlock until recently.

Yes, if you look too closely there are a few things that don’t always add up (the same could probably be said of most TV shows though to be honest) but Sherlock’s second season is a great example of what the BBC is capable of at its best. Another great season for the modern retelling of the old Sherlock Holmes stories.

The introduction of a well-known character, a classic storyline known by almost everyone, and the fateful meeting between Sherlock and his nemesis, Moriarty. While they did a good job with the first Another great season for the modern retelling of the old Sherlock Holmes stories.

The introduction of a well-known character, a classic storyline known by almost everyone, and the fateful meeting between Sherlock and his nemesis, Moriarty. I was honestly so disappointed in how it played out, but I am definitely excited to start Season 3 here soon.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are as great as Wow. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are as great as ever as well as all the supporting cast but the stealer for me was Andrew Scott as Moriarty.

He is the reason why the final episode of the three is absolutely jaw dropping, and he is just a joy to watch. Following this masterpiece is the excellent “Hounds of Baskerville”, which actually brings some decent horror to the show.

The first (A Scandal in Belgrade) might be the most clever episode to date, and the plot is very solid. The first (A Scandal in Belgrade) might be the most clever episode to date, and the plot is very solid.

The season finale though (The Reichenbach Fall), totally blew everything away. It's extremely entertaining and the story of Sherlock Holmes continued on paths I didn't even think could exist.

The plot is less complex than in the previous season, but the quality and the depth of the story is much greater. In short terms; I totally love this show, if it can continue on this great path.

One can't get enough of it, Cumberbatch is arguably the best Holmes on screen well-supported by a great cast throughout the series It is hard to say which episode is the best out of the three of them as all of them are great while having a few flaws: A Scandal in Belgrade can be a bit pretentious at times, The Hounds of Baskerville has some weak effects and can be a little silly at times, and The Reichenbach Fall has a series is great.

Very likely one of the greatest television shows running, the second season continues on the fantastic acting, mind-bending plots, and scathingly witty writing of the first. A slightly bland second episode, venturing too far into generic television territory plot-wise jars a bit with the unity of the series, but on the whole, Sherlock remains the pinnacle of quality television.

Grafting contemporary settings onto the classic literary character, Conan Doyle's character is suited quite well for the internet, GPS and smartphones with Doctor Watson not only trying to catch up with Holmes but the ace detective's abilities to leverage daily technologies as well. EPS can get bogged down with a bit too much wordplay “one-ups man ship” but producers/writers Moat and Gates know how to spin their yarn and keep the dynamic duo moving forward...touching old, established story line and stringing up brand-new ones. Outstanding direction, cinematography and the background score; I could not stop noticing them throughout the series.

I don't like the characterization of Jim Moriarty though, looks kinda lame and annoying, maybe he was born that way. Outstanding direction, cinematography and the background score; I could not stop noticing them throughout the series.

The only thing that's bumming me out is that I have to wait till next year Sherlock Holmes never fails to disappoint. Creators Mark Gates and Steven Moat have done an incredible job.

I do hope that phone call comes back into play, since it seemed nothing but an easy and comedic way out, but given Morality's fate this Season, things are looking bleak. After a slightly disappointing opening, A Scandal in Belgrade, does a great job as an individual arc.

She's a clever character, and although she used her wits initially to attack Sherlock, she was ultimately a tool in Moriarty's game. Sherlock obviously grew quite fond of her, saving he life by the episode's end.

I do think this relationship has legs and hope Irene returns to the future, but I'm hugely confused by Steven Moat's decision to make her a lesbian. It's at least marginally better than Season 1's The Blind Banker but like that episode, it feels stretched too thin over its 90-minute runtime.

Not a lot to talk about here, just good old Sherlock and Watson case busting. If you think this is starting to sound like a Sherlock bashing session, then fear not: The Reichenbach fall is one of those TV episodes that make you want to just stand up and applaud once you're through.

The intensity is dialed up a notch as Moriarty seeks to absolutely destroy Sherlock's life. Moriarty, realizing Sherlock's friends are easier target, sets up elaborate traps for Sherlock to walk through, continually eating away at his stellar reputation.

Moriarty lies without flinching, convincing people he was nothing more than an actor that Sherlock hired because he was bored, and that he has a code that can give a man all the power in the world. How exactly Sherlock survived the fall is unclear and was a major talking point during the show's hiatus.

Things were complicated between him and Sherlock but Freeman's last few scenes were very emotionally touching. With season 3 airing soon in America, let's hope that another two years don't go by without this excellent series.

The relationship between the Holmes boys was explored, and I found that I cared about Mycroft as well. Watson, however, takes a backstage this time around, and oddly, I did not care about it so much as there were other greater things going on about.

Moriarty seemed to be underwhelming earlier, with his child-like tantrums, but the actor played him with resolve in this episode. The first episode of this season was phenomenal in every way, probably my favorite of the series thus far.

The second episode was not as good, and I struggled with some plausibility issues, and it did get confusing Let me first say that I absolutely love this show, and it is because the show is so good that I set the bar very high for each episode, considering there are only 3 per season. The first episode of this season was phenomenal in every way, probably my favorite of the series thus far.

The second episode was not as good, and I struggled with some plausibility issues, and it did get confusing at times. The third and final episode was better than the second, but not as good as the first, though it was a great cliffhanger ending, and I was very entertained throughout.

A truly perfect series as far as character development, story and everything technical are concerned. A stunning piece of television to watch if only for the beautiful editing.

When I heard about this show the first time, I was a bit concerned, but after watching the first season I could never think about Sherlock Holmes the same way because the first thing that I thought of was, Benedict Cumberbatch. This is one of the unique TV series' out there, and I can't wait for season 3.

It is exciting, every arc is wrapped up (except from the finale I am dying to know what happens next, curse you BBC for not giving us a proper trailer); and the acting by Cumberbatch and Freeman is great. If you're interested in detective stories, brainstorming riddles, spectacular acting or in-depth emotions, this set of 90 minutes is just for you.

The Woman... The Hound... The Fall... Whatever doubts I had for Sherlock, those tiny nitpicks on the tapestry of innovation that has been so flawlessly woven, have been thoroughly erased by this second season. The story remains the same: a modern Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick John The Woman... The Hound... The Fall... Whatever doubts I had for Sherlock, those tiny nitpicks on the tapestry of innovation that has been so flawlessly woven, have been thoroughly erased by this second season.

The story remains the same: a modern Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick John Watson occupy the familiar flat at 221B Baker Street and solve mysteries as consulting detectives. Holmes is quickly gaining popularity through John's blog, leading him to come face-to-face with his intellectual match: James Moriarty.

Ever since the shocking cliffhanger to the first season, Moriarty has been busy leading one of the most extensive crime syndicates in the world, and is the catalyst behind the three major cases which Sherlock must solve. The stakes have been raised higher and no one feels safe, even at their own home.

Cumberbatch is, and always will be, the definitive Sherlock, constructing the character with a perfect sense of ignorance and determination. This brilliantly highlights his moments of genuine concern and emotion buried beneath his photographic memory and relentless mind.

The chemistry between the two is unrivaled in any medium and will doubtless be regarded as the greatest on-screen duo ever put on screen. But perhaps the greatest addition is Moriarty, whose strange mannerisms and flamboyance make him one of the most memorable, yet terrifying, villains on television.

He is the perfect match for Cumberbatch due to their haunting similarities: a lust for excitement and unmatched intellectual prowess. The chemistry between the two enemies is incredible, working off of each other in a steady, chaotic game of chess, in which the fate of the British nation hangs in the balance.

Each mystery is perfectly paced and a thrill ride from start to finish. For the first time the two detectives feel connected, which leads to even more hilarity throughout the investigations.

John's sense of morality constantly conflicts with Sherlock's thorough enjoyment of the cases, forcing Sherlock to better grasp human emotions and attempt to lose his remorseless characteristics. With nothing held back, the writers constructed a three-course meal that is sharply written and overwhelmingly satisfying, from the first shots fired to the dramatic conclusion that still sparks intense debate to this day.

If that's not proof enough how great a show it is for the true Sherlock fans Moriarty is played so beautifully and the relationship between the two of them works as if they would be the best of friends had the characters not been arch-enemies. The challenge of both their intellects combined creates a surrogate relationship that to the Moriarty is a game an to Sherlock its life and death.
