We have utilized a Shale Ported design which allows us to dial in the full frequency range of the guitar. Placed vertically, the Best delivers a tuned, focused sound yet has the airy qualities associated with open back cabs due to the front port.

When placed horizontally, you pick up more low end as the front port is than coupled with the floor. This is a long throw cabinet that will get the sound to the back of the room.

With a pair of 7591 power tubes at its heart, the JETTA’s signature sound is one of near hi-fi accuracy with a sound stage far larger than its small package would belie. The circuit topology provides a streamlined, effective signal path from guitar to speaker.

Available in a 1×12 ultra-lite studio combo weighing only 34 lbs., the JETTY offers features such as Metro Zero Loss effects loop to maintain signal clarity with even the longest effects chain and is built with premium components like the UK-made Election H30 speaker, Haber and Triad transformers, and Jupiter signal capacitors. Rounding out at $1399, the JETTY provides a formidable sonic footprint at 30 watts of power and is hand-built in Cleveland, OH.

The legendary Z Wreck sound captured in a 15 watt package, utilizing a specifically tuned master volume for versatility on stage and at home. “Give tax great tone” Ok, so I'm wondering which Drama is the best for clean sounds.

Now I'm not thinking of any particular style, just great clean tone, say like a 60s fender twin or better. I had a listen to the May 38 & the stingray clips & I've got to say that through my crappy computer speakers I can't tell the difference & the reviews for all the amps are good, so.can anyone give me any clues. With some super efficient speakers you could approach Twin levels.

Z has another 6L6 amp in the works called the Evan or EGG 40/50. “Give tax great tone” Yeah cool I just had a look at the Galaxies, a few more sound clips might come in handy.

I can get a great clean sound from my May Sr. head and 1×12 cab loaded with a Weber C12CA. Not quite fender twin clean, but it is very nice.

Remedy is a killer Alex tone. The Z28 adds an EF86 tube to the preamp I think, some DrZ's do and I think that one does. My R4 loves the Z28.

Cool thing is the two volume controls. And each add gain as well as tone, or that's the way it seems when you play it. The Remedy I think has more of a normal operation tone stack though.

Yup the Remedy is 4 6V6's, 40/20 watts via switch to cut power. The Z28 is 2 6V6's and 22 waste Carmen Gaia gets rave reviews.

On YouTube there are solos by Buddy Witting ton with a Gaia that just sing. I was pretty set on getting a May.38 NR head to run through my Orange 4×12 cab (THAT is a bad ass set-up).

I've read pros and cons on both the effects loop and the reverb, so I don't know what to believe. Howdy, The only Camp I've played is the one I own: A Carmen Gaia.

So, right now I own a Blues Jr. (my first tube amp) and a DRI, with either a Start or Les Paul going through them. I play in a kind of rock n' roll, classic country, red dirt mix band.

I enjoy playing blues and classic rock the most though. He has over a dozen amps that all do their own thing... some share elements from a family of circuits... you'll need to read, listen, and plat to find the one that matches you. All are very well-built, by hand, and none sound bad.

I like the idea of the Antidote for its kind of “batsman/JIM” fusion but wasn't sure because the Therapy sounds great too (not sure what it's design is inspired by).

Also, the Z -Lux, but I'm worried it will sound a little too similar to my DRI or not be able to get dirty enough. I use mine for classic rock type stuff, as well as red dirt style (Turnpike Troubadours) with my tell.

I've also owned a Jazz 18 and though it did not fit me, sounded great. I'm not much of a Marshall guy, so I haven't explored those... but a Wreck is sure tempting.

I think he has video demos with both Fender and Gibson guitars for nearly everything on his site if you haven't checked those out. Much preferred the Remedy- it has great plexi-ish cleans, but I thought the dirt tone was a little lacking in Alex growl.

I enjoy playing blues and classic rock the most though. Do you get dirt from pedals or the amp ? The antidote will nail the sounds you mentioned and take pedals well, but it will be pretty loud.

Z -wreck if you can handle the volume and the budget allows...the other Z that I played that blew me away was the Therapy. Be sure to check out the Z forum. My main amp is a 1×12 May 18 reverb.

About the volume, I definitely plan on getting a Brake Lite/Air Break as well. Z -wreck if you can handle the volume and the budget allows...the other Z that I played that blew me away was the Therapy.

I'm going to Chicago to see the Experience Hendrix Tour (won tickets from the Chicago Music Exchange) and will play a Therapy and Z -Lux at the Exchange while I'm there.
