As the sequel to Walker’s explosive “Faded,” 2016’s “Sing Me to Sleep” carried a fair bit of pressure to perform. Here, Walker attaches gooey, lullaby-like vocals to a crisp, sprightly melody to create a dream-like sound that perfectly matches the track’s title.
His most recent single, “Tired,” follows up on his melodic house sound with Gavin James' soft crooning. It’s not hard to understand why the winding beat and triumphant synth progression of “Faded” captivated dance listeners around the globe, putting a dent in the Billboard Hot 100 and peaking at No.
On Spotify, we’re looking at more than 690 million streams, while the track’s viral YouTube video boasts more than 1.2 billion views. 1 Faded Love this song I have listened to it so much that I now have memorized this.
I love this song, you guys are probably going to think me crazy, but I listen to this every day, and I'm singing in the talent show at my school. April 23/19 There is obviously a great reason for its voting... Just here and feel the song... All devoted to Alan walker specially for Faded.
My favorite song Never hear the tune is amazing 3 Sings Me to Sleep This is the first music of Alan Walker that I listened at.
At first, my favorite Alan Walker song was “Faded”. But, when I heard this legendary song, I change my mind and this song is pretty attractive.
At first, I didn't really like this, but then I listened to it again and again, and it is the BEST (after sing me to sleep and faded.) (also my favorite song) This should b e#1 then Faded.
Faded and Specter are incredible as well, but most of the songs other than those are nothing compared to force. 7 Ignite I love this song when I asked my Alexa to play AlanWalkersongs this one was the first one she played, and I was INSTANTLY in love with it.
He is a believer in humanity, we must listen to his calls Sabrina carpenter's voice just compliments the tunes of Alan Walker so well.
11 Lonely Amazing song, and if there is a singing contest, and you have a girl w/ you, high chance you're going to win This is the same thing as Faded, but it's the background music.
13 Play This is SUCH a good song, it really should be higher. The name is kinda bad, that might be why, but the song itself is amazing.

Heard it while listening to jaywalker mix. DJ Alan Walker has taught himself how to make music by watching YouTube videos.
Alan Walker, who can almost always be seen wearing a hoodie and mouth towel, has in the meantime scored many hits in a few years. Miserable nu né apart in SI nu sent graduate DE NOI, DACA AI gait firearms tau PE aces site, pot brigand trim ite UN Mesa PE paging DE contact entry a put ea phi stars.
This is going to be my one and only last post until next year, Have a great time and have fun y'all!! Lily was a little girl Afraid of the big, wide world She grew up within her castle walls Now, and then she tried to run And then on the night with the setting sun She went in the woods away So afraid, all altogether warned her, don't go...
Lily was a shy young girl and was protected from the outside world for all her life. Creatures hiding in the dark are meant to be the bad people in the world.
Witch an abusive partner would possibly say to make them feel comfortable but still being able to slip in the fact that they are superior. She realizes that He was making her obsessed with him in any way because He wanted to stay in the abusive relationship.
Literal ------- Lily (A) is a Princess living in a castle (C) being protected by her parents from the harsh world (B). Nearby there is a magical forest (D) populated by ill meaning creatures (E).
Lily sometimes sneaks out of the castle (C) having heard stories (F) of adventure and magic. Lily (probably unwillingly) accepts this enchantment (H) the creature promising her safety and adventures (G).
Castle walls (C) are the pre-internet era national consensus on what is right or wrong / how the world should be viewed e.g. that newspapers and big TV stations are generally reliable, the president and politicians want the best for the country, terrorists, communists fascists are bad, USA good ... The woods(D) are non-mainstream media / people telling stories different from what is generally accepted as true.
Creatures hiding in the dark (E) are populists, conspiracy theorists, communists, whoever main stream /the public deemed as unsavory, not fit to be seen with. Lily wandering out too long is modern society where the internet has undermined the old fabric of national consensus making former fringe opinions electable.
The creature is Trump who promises what if you give him power (H) and let him do whatever he wants (G) his stories will come true: Coal comes back, the border wall will solve anything, ... Ice breaking (I) is the next election. Everyone looks for another candidate but Trumps style has lead American society far away from its old safe walls having an unclear way to go.
Castle walls (C) are commandments / religious rules for proper behavior intended to keep us on the right path and safe from damnation. Creatures in the dark are demons forever tempting us, promising is worldly bliss (F) that can be achieved through sinning (doing drugs, getting rich through immoral means, ...)(G).
Deep inside he knows that he is on the wrong way and in a moment of clarity and remorse (I) he tries to get back on the right path (J) but once you lived a life of sin it is hard to get righteous again. Before WW1, the Great powers had their system of alliances (C) supposedly protecting Europe from a big war (B).
The woods and the creatures hiding in it (D&E) are nationalism, racism, imperialism, militarism, communism which unseen threaten the entire continent to be thrown into chaos and war. The stories (F) are the myth of the glorious battlefield, heroism in war, that a master race must prevail over lesser humans.
The creature newly trying to enchant is Hitler and the Nazis promising to return German honor and glory (F). The castle (C) is the youthful innocence which she starts losing once she comes into puberty.
The woods (D) represents the hiding / suppression of sexuality in our society making its exploration a hidden / shady thing. Creatures hiding in the dark are (E) her own desires for sexual experience, telling her to explore this area of herself.
It just shows that it is a scary thing and often people wish back the time of innocence. Psychological ------------- Lily (A) is your conscious mind, that castle(C) is your self-deception telling you that you are in control of things.
The big wide world is your subconscious which actually steers your behavior much more than your conscious mind. The woods (D) is part of that subconscious where your suppressed desires (=the creatures E) lie.
In short: I guess it's a story of a girl wanting to escape depression and save herself Then Dumbledore said to Petunia: Hey I just met you and this is crazy your sister is dead so here's her baby.
I think, that lily has been blocked from the outside world by her parents, wanting to protect her from the dangers. So TBH, I'm not going with anything unrealistic because it's a true story :| I have to say, something with kidnapping, human/sexual trafficking and just how she left the safety of her home.
I think that Lily is a princess or young queen (if her parents died a while ago, and she has no one to take care of her) who is afraid of going out into the world but simultaneously is getting bored with life alone in the castle, and so she often tries to run away, however she always comes back. One particular time, she runs away into the woods where she meets a creature who is telling her to follow it and that it will keep her safe.
I think that this song is about a young girl who broke the rules and has to pay the price. The person\thing she has to pay to find her, but Lily refuses and runs, most likely from the thing, who I think is her Mother, or may e her ex or an abusive partner.
The mother\partner\abuser never lets her go and eventually they are at her deathbed telling her to finally trust them again, after all these years. I think that it is about a girl (Lily) whose parents loved her a lot, but she still felt alone because they told her that the world was scary, so she started keeping everything to herself (She grew up inside her castle walls) and she tried to run away, to escape her depression, but it never really happens, and it just follows her, telling her that if she submits to her depression good things will happen, but I know from experience that’s not really what happens.
Maybe I’m interpreting this song how I want it to be but this is my honest opinion, it’s okay if you don’t agree. I always thought it was kind of about a little girl named Lilly, and her parents sort of blocked her off from the world, but one day, by nightfall, she ran away as she had many times but this time she made it to the dark woods and got lost, people had warned her that the woods were dangerous, and then some creature came and started singing her a siren-like song of safety and dreams if she let it into her head, but she kept up her mental blockage until the darkness swallowed her, she soon woke from the trance and was even more lost, so she ran away, calling for help, and behind her, she could hear he creature start up its song again...she was getting surrounded by darkness again, but she pushed through and ran away again, calling for help, but her calls were cut short by the last verse of the creatures enchanting song...
Okay so in the first few lines its obvious that she is a little girl who has got no experience when it comes to dealing with the outside world. She has lived in comfort which required 0 talks outside her safe heaven um probably.
Just that thin ice had to break and all her expectations of the “perfect outside world” will come crashing down. And if the ice doesn't break now it could lead to more brutal things which would even surpass her intuitions. She screams for help.
I feel like Lily is about someone going through some sort of mental health issue. Lily (the person that's being told in the song), was said to be a young girl (it could be a boy).
“She knew she was hypnotized and walking on cold thin ice then it broke, and she awoke again”. Lily tried to get help, and it failed because it says “behind her, she can hear it say-” it meant that the suicidal thoughts found her.
They are corrupted by demons, and I feel Lily is the cross between the good and bad. I'm a potter head so this obviously makes sense to me, and the breaking ice is when Shape called her a mud blood.
