For example, most routes collect fares both ways for vehicles, but only one-way for passengers. A discount over the single fares is achieved if a minimum of 13 round -trips are used in a calendar month.

Customers who travel frequently should purchase vehicle multi-use tickets. All the passes listed above are available as a one-time purchase online or at a terminal, or as a re-loadable Revalue Card.

Revalue cards are available on our Online Tickets page and are mailed to you. Any rides loaded will still be available for use for 90 days from the date of purchase when you choose to suspend or cancel future refills.

A senior or disability Revalue card does not offer any additional discount but provides the convenience of providing proof of eligibility one time on your initial purchase, and 5 rides loaded on each replenishment. On all routes except Anacortes/San Juan Island/Sidney, B.C., customers paying with the purse or the ORCA card are exempt from the bicycle surcharge. Bicycles towing a kayak or canoe are to be charged the motorcycle/driver (stowage) rate in WAC 468-300-020.

All school groups require a letter of authorization and prior notification. In the case of home-school groups, in addition to prior notification, a copy of the filed Declaration of Intent (as outlined in RCW 28A.200.010) shall be submitted to the tollbooth at the time of travel.

Notification shall be made no less than 72 hours before the scheduled departure and will include the expected number of school-age children and adults that will be traveling to ensure WSF can satisfy U.S. Coast Guard lifesaving equipment requirements. Failure to provide adequate notification may result in delayed travel.

In pricing these packages, WSF will have discretion to set appropriate volume discounts based on a case-by-case basis. Enactment of this program is dependent upon legislative funding for the pilot project.
