We didn’t actually make it down for Opening Day, but did drive down on Friday evening. We met up with some friends at Holiday Inn Extended Stay that’s 0.9 miles from Entrust Park.
Having a hotel so close to the ballpark and the Battery Atlanta is really convenient. If you’re unfamiliar, the Battery Atlanta is an area around Entrust Park that includes stores, restaurants, music venues, hotels, and apartments.
The restaurant chain is owned by Paul Weinberg and his partners/brothers Mark and Donnie. Even though a location will be open here in Charlotte next year, we didn’t want to wait to try it.
Though there isn’t a separate gluten-free menu, several gluten-free items are offered, including a gluten-free bun. Nikki ordered a burger with lettuce and a side of tater tots.
Even though the burgers looked really delicious, I spotted something on the menu that I couldn’t pass up. I ordered Mac and Cheese with bacon and a side of tater tots.

The only thing we make that contains peanut products is our Fluffanutta sandwich which is cooked in a separate area to be sure of no cross contamination. Our locations also sell cupcakes that may have peanuts (flavors vary weekly) however they are kept separate from other foods as well.

Mark, Donnie and Paul Weinberg finally brought their comfort food gem to Long Island, making the long trip to Coney Island no longer necessary. The famous brothers, who opened the first Hamburgers in Massachusetts in 2011, offer dishes inspired by their childhood thanks to Paul’s experience as a chef.
Like the other locations around the country, the Port Jefferson Station spot (opened in December) is where a burger lover’s appetite will be satisfied. Leave calorie counting at the door and try five of the items customers are going back for.
The spicy burger comes with white cheddar, bacon and fresh jalapeños. The Weinberg brothers are bringing a little of their hometown to Long Island with this burger.
If you’re ordering something solely because it’s low-calorie or skimps on saturated fat, that might not be a healthy choice at all.
